FANTASTICAL CREATURES
Laura Lindow (AIR for Theatre Royal) worked with the brilliant students of Newcastle West End and asked them to imagine new 'monsters' which might live around their streets. They wrote poems to describe these creatures and then Laura commissioned Lizzie to bring them to life through illustration.
This body of work shows the world through the intrepid eyes of these children from Newcastle’s West End and was showcased in an extra-special exhibition featuring recorded interviews, poems, artwork, and a specially designed soundscape in Theatre Royals Studio during their 2025 open day.
